Introducing: Kathleen of Nana K’s British Pies
Since January 2019, Kathleen has been creating authentic British style meat pies and re-heat-to-eat pub-style snacks for the Regina Farmers' Market. From sausage rolls to gluten friendly scotch eggs you are sure to find your favourite UK flavour! All meat pies and puff-pastries are handmade and fillings are sourced locally as often as possible.
Kathleen was born and raised in Yorkshire bringing the family recipes she missed to us in Saskatchewan with an authentic UK taste in every bite. She felt the prairies were lacking in British pies and originally wanted to open a pie shop here in Regina. However, she says her daughter talked her into joining the RFM (and we’re very glad she did!). As Nana K(athleen) to her grand-children at home, she loves sharing her British goods with the next generation and with the Regina Community.
